The KTS-273-16 is a 16-channel passive transceiver that is part of GE Security's new, integrated CCTV UTP (unshielded twisted pair) system. Designed to expand the capabilities of the CyberDome¨ product line, this active receiver is able to receive real time color or monochrome video up to 3,000 feet over standard UTP telephone wire. Transmitting over UTP wire, rather than over traditional video cable, provides a reliable, high quality, flexible and expandable system that uses less conduit space, and can be built into existing wiring topologies.
